Streaming Nation

1. Describe what the process was like in trying to create questions for your research topic.
2. What was different in your survey than the other people you worked with in your group?
3. Did your demographic questions help you in understanding your results? If yes or no explain why?
4. Was there anything the survey results could tell you about your topic? Be specific. If not, explain why not.
5. How many responses did you get for your survey?
Take a screenshot (snipping tool) and post the picture of your responses in this post
6. What is a good project for the class to do that could be formatted similar to The Apprentice?

1.) The process of creating the questions was hard because the question had to give useful information for my topic. Also the questions had to have different information to use in our presentations.
2.) I differed my survey from my group members by asking people how they would feel if they lost their  streaming source to see how dependent today's kids are with Netflix and other stuff like that.
3.) No because a streaming source is more geared towards personal interests that differ greatly from person to person. It doesn't really matter if they are a boy or a girl or something like that.
4.)One of my questions asked people what streaming source they used the most and it shows that Netflix and YouTube are dominant which shows me what people like and use the most.
5.)17 responses

6.)I think it would be a good idea to make groups in the class that each have to create a certain type of company and the best company wins.

Case Study

I chose to do the case study about Nintendo. Nintendo was one of the most popular video game companies back in the day. It came over the company Sega and throughout the late 1900s it developed things that people seemed to flock to. Nintendo. Later in its life span Nintendo was beaten out by competitors like play station and x-box and the popularity began to decrease. The point of this case study was to show a successful business and how it came over competitors and other problems as the product lived out its popularity. \

     "Nintendo Beefs up its Arsenal"
. market- Nintendo has a market of teens and younger adults, or anyone else who enjoys to play video games
risks- Nintendo had to risk sending out products to compete against others.
product- Nintendo had games and consoles mainly as products which they would target at a certain market.
needs- The needs of people that companies use to sell.
profit- The amount of money a company makes after they pay all their deficits

I think that we should research google. Google seems like a good company to research because we use it every single day of our lives. Also many people don't know how google makes its money because it is a free search engine  and it is very interesting company. This is why we should research google.

New Market

My new marketing is to create a company similar to Uber. My service would provide people with long distance rides instead of short distance. Also my company would have trucks and buses so we could be used for a wider variety of services not just rides. My company would have a fair price of 1 dollar a mile for regular rides, 5 per mile with buses, and 10 per mile with moving trucks but of course we would provide the men to unload the furniture after it has reached its designated location. My company would do a lot of promoting in the cities at offices and also use real estate signs to create buzz about the moving aspect of our company.  This product would be widely used all around the world because everyone could use cheap easy rides. This company would exceed over Uber because of the large moving aspect with it and the cheap rides making it easier to move or to get towards your designated destination.

Boston Olympics

Recently Boston was denied from hosting the Olympics for certain problems. In my opinion the reason why we couldn’t have the Olympics in Boston is because of space. When you go into Boston it is constantly crowded and there is never anywhere to park and with thousands and thousands of people coming here for the Olympics the problem would become even more prevalent. There is just not enough room in Boston as it is to host a major worldwide event like the Olympics. Also there would not be many places for people to stay because the hotels in Boston would be filled quickly and then people would have to go out of town and drive in causing massive problems with traffic.
